Today we are celebrating Earth Day so in order to protect our planet there are some things that we should do:
Firstly, if we reduce the use of paper, we are saving a lot of trees from being cut down. At the same time, if we recycle plastic bottles, we are helping to prevent the problem of rubbish in a global scale.
On the other hand, we can also help to prevent air pollution. F
or example: If people stop making unnecessary car journeys or stop smoking wich it's also a very important addiction that is increasing. Althought citizens
should contribute to
protecting the environment: If animals weren't killed so much, they wouldn't be in danger of extinction.
Water is a bigger problem too,I think that if people hadn't wasted so much water,there wouldn't have been watershortage.
In conclusion Earth Day means to me a very different day because in this day we celebrate everything that surrounds us and makes us who we are. Save the environment!
